Referrals
Boost provides Partners with as much underwriting authority as possible but some Customers may have a different risk profile or need higher limits than what is within the allowed norms. In these cases it may be possible to have Boost underwriters evaluate the quote in order to make a decision as to whether or not to write the Policy. If a specific program has Referrals active then at your request the Boost PAS will automatically move the Quote status to referral_needed indicating that the Referral process has kicked off. Boost’s underwriters expect to turn most referrals around in 24h but depending on the complexity of a specific Referral they can take longer. Regardless, once the underwriter has made a decision the status will change and the Partner will be updated via webhook as to whether the Quote is now invalid or bindable.
